TV + Film Bio

I find true excitement in working in the costume department and love the collaborative effort of bringing a character to life through clothing choice and design. My career in the film industry started to take off after assisting in the costume department on the movies “Grudge Match” (starring Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone) and “Mcfarland” (starring Kevin Costner). After finishing those movies I worked my way into the Motion Picture Costumers Union Local 705. I was able to finish earning my days to get into the union by working in the collections department at Western Costume house in Los Angeles. In the collections department I handled the most beautiful period garments from many different eras and learned how to maintain and preserve true vintage clothing. 

While waiting on my paperwork to be processed toward joining the union I was working as a costume designer on the movie “Wiener Dog Nationals” which starred Morgan Fairchild, Jason London, Bryan Batt and Alicia Witt. From there I continued to design other independent films and style for various music videos, commercials and event trailers.

After joining Local 705 I landed gigs day playing on the television shows Justified and Major Crimes. After Justified finished its final season I became a full blown costumer working full time on shows like Supergirl, Gilmore Girls, Bob and David, Seal Team, Mayans, 911 and more.
