I know all the tips and tricks when it comes to clothes from my years of working on set with actors. When an actor is on camera we have to make sure the clothes will look perfect for a 12 hour shoot day. Not only do actors need to be visually perfect, but they need to be comfortable so that the clothes they are wearing won’t distract them from their performance.

That means no itchy sweaters, collars that won’t stay in place, sweaty pit stains or hurting feet. These are all things that would be distracting to the actor and the same goes for you and everything you strive to achieve. No one has time for clothes to hinder their performance in life.

→ Because I always get asked about celebrities….I almost hit Robert De Niro in the face with a door while assisting on my first movie “Grudge Match”. As I was walking out of the bathroom I swung the door open and bam! There he was, dodging the door. I also met my future husband on that movie and my husband and I still get to work on sets together to this day.

→ I am obsessed with Peloton and flew to New York to do my 100th ride with Denis Morton. I even took a nerdy, sweaty pic with him after the ride to prove it.

→ I will never get sick of watching “Sex and the City”

→ The first movie I designed I had to make custom clothes for Wiener Dogs for the movie “Wiener Dog Nationals.” I thought I would never make clothes for animals again until years later I designed a back to school commercial for Target where I dressed nothing but animals including ducks, turtles, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies and another wiener dog!
