Mandalay Bay

01The Brief

Wardrobe styling for a Mandalay Bay commercial, shot on property in Las Vegas. Hospitality spots move fast and cover a lot of ground, so wardrobe has to survive being seen for two seconds at a time and still say something. I styled talent to read instantly as the guest each moment called for, kept the looks clean against busy backgrounds, and made sure everything worked in motion, because almost nothing in the cut sits still.

  • Styled for a fast cut commercial where each look gets seconds of screen time.
  • Kept silhouette and color simple enough to register instantly against busy property backgrounds.
  • Fit every look for movement first, since the piece is built on motion.
  • Directed by Jeremy Cloe with DP Ryan Galvan, produced by Oogoog for MGM.
In her words
Two seconds on screen, and it still has to say something.
